The QUIZ will be on THURSDAY 10th November from about 8pm in LOAFERS.

Come along and raise money having fun at our Quiz. It’ll be a different style to last year’s but come along as your hard earned cash will be going to a good place…Marraige Equality and Linc!

The AUCTION is on SUNDAY 13th November in CHAMBERS from 11pm onwards.

Time to flash that cash and bid on the guys and girls that we have up for auction! You lucky bidders will have the opportunity to be taken on a very different kind of date, offered by our guys and girls. All will be revealed on the night. On the male menu we have, Baz (Mr Gay Ireland 2011), Emmett Barret (Mr Front Lounge), Andrew Guerin (Mr Gay Galway), Damien Fitz (Mr Gay Cork.com) and more…. The Female menu will be announced on the night…. We’ll keep it a surprise This is for a great cause everybody, and is guaranteed to be a great night.

WOMENS MINI MARATHON: We will be walking in the mini Marathon in Cork on Sunday, September 25th. So if anyone asks you for a donation, please give generously…remember, some of the girls don’t ‘do’ excercise usually !!!

5-A-SIDE FOOTBALL: We are holding this in the CIT astro turf pitches on provisionally October 1st. Please keep an eye out for further details.  You can make up your own team or just come along and we’ll pair you with one! Run around with lovely ladies getting muddy!

AUCTION: Want to get your hands on a sexy lady (or for the boys, we have handsome men!)…come along to our Human Auction! Just bid on thenight for the personyou want. You also get to avail of one of their talents for your fee…you can get an hour Karate lesson with a trained black belt, a massage, drum lessons…so come along and see what tickles your fancy!

CALENDAR: We are sorting out the calendar and are aiming to launch it at Ms. Gay Cork!

Hi everyone! The Ms.Gay Cork committee has once more been set up. We are sorting everything at the moment. Two fun fundraisers aswell as the night itself. Details to come!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out and supported us for the first ever Ms. Gay Cork! We raised €1240 for Marriage Equality! Well done to all of the contestants. Jules Walsh is our official Ms. Gay Cork 2010 and Stephanie Forgarty is Ms. Gay Cork.Com 2010! Well done to them and all the girls! And of a course, not forgetting a very big thank you to Daisy!

Ms. Gay Cork is now less than a month away!!!  We have decided it’s time to get to know you and our Ms. Gay Cork contestants! So we will be holding a short meet and greet at LinC (across from Loafers…we may even make it over there at some stage )on Douglas street at 7.30pm  next Thursday, June 24th.

In Chambers tonight there is a fundraiser for Ms. Gay Cork! Don’t forget that all proceeds from Ms. Gay Cork event will go to Cork Action for Equality and The Other Place! The evening of entertainment starts at 8pm. Pop along and see Cork’s most fabulous drag stars and more(!) take to the stage in support of our lovely ladies!

As a fun way to kick off pride, there is an art exhibition from Tara on for one week in The Other Place, starting on the 31st of May.  The topic is Transgender and Drag. There will be a selection of pieces including: transgender dresses, multimedia pieces, nude drawings and more! It’s just 3euro in and some select pieces will be for sale. Do not miss this wonderful opportunity to view some great work and kick off pride in style!
